For anyone unfamiliar with ELFEN LIED, this video is about the last Diclonius introduced in the anime, Mariko. The Diclonius are a breed of mutated humans with (in the anime) pink hair, horns growing out of their head, and a number of invisible arms that come out of their back. The arms are capable of vibrating at such a speed that they can be used as weapons, though the scientists studying them aren't quite sure that that was their original purpose.

This particular Diclonius has been contained since she was born, and she knows nothing outside of her big watery prison. When she finally meets her father, Director Kurama, he pulls a gun on her - so why is it that Nana, who isn't even his real daughter, is allowed to stay with him, but not Mariko? ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ◆FOOTAGE Elfen Lied
