Memories of my Daughters' border terrier Jackson Pollock aged 5 years. His short life ended May 9th 2008, killed by a fox.............
These are some words my Daughter Emily wrote to a friend.
"It's so hard to lose these little brown dogs who become so important to us -- not everyone understands how much we love them. My world feels very empty now. Tonight I went and sat by his grave, where we have planted a rose called 'summer song', and I felt a sense of peace -- I hope he will be waiting for me somewhere, waiting for the time we can be together again and he can cuddle up against me for the special tickles he loved so much."............'Days' sung by Kirsty MacColl.........

  • I'm so sorry for ...

I'm so sorry for your loss. i have watched your other video of him running to "Don't Stop Me Now" whenever I've needed cheering up; it always did the trick. I don't know what I'd do if we lost our BT, Amos.

His life may have been short, but he looks like he was ALWAYS having fun. You obviously gave him a wonderful life. Take care.

  • What lovely footage ...

What lovely footage. My BT is curled up asleep on my feet under the desk, his favourite spot, and I am so glad I have him. Our last BT fought foxes and went missing once chasing one but survived and came home in more or less one piece, but I'll never forget the worry. You have my heartfelt sympathy, Kerry

  • I am crying just ...

I am crying just imagine that it could happen to my borderteriers. They love to run and explore the life on the fields. Borders are a great breed.
