Yes, it's usually a waste of time with "remakes" since they are usually made to have a "numb em & dumb em" effect on a supposedly younger more impressionable audience than was the case of the original. Remakes will ALWAYS promote the same common themes found in reality shows, pop culture, etc, blast your senses with CGI and special effects. They'll make a remake show "hip" and deliberately shift focus on the main theme w/ few thought provoking elements other than what star played what role.

Wow, well from looking at your other films I should have known you also saw the "value" of the prisoner series. I guess it's time for me to review it again it's been many years. I'm working on a project analyzing the "Animatrix" something that people rarely focus on. It also gives the same clues and is as deep as a person can possibly view it. The Matrix is a good film but I wish that more would find the true gems that lie in the Animatrix that makes a more symbolically profound statement!

I never even heard about that... maybe on the Dark side of the moon here in Germany things like that are forbidden.....

Yes you are right in that many of the subliminal are hard to see but there are many that are easy to see. If one approaches The Prisoner intellectually then it almost becomes like a challenging puzzle for the mind.

The television series "The Prisoner" is one of the symbolically challenging works that I have seen and has helped me a great deal to regain my sight. I recommend that we all review this television series when time permits. It will be well worth the time investment.
