    Wonderful teacher.
Although I keep thinking about how Mr. Susskind has the face of George Carlin, and the voice of Christopher Walken.

I will continue to watch the videos.

I hope I wasn't too harsh on you and I apologize if I was. I responded to the comment while watching the Elegant Universe (great film, btw).

  • To clarify, I was ...

To clarify, I was laughing at hypocrisy of the statement, because the scientific community certainly doesn't accept or allow criticism of the generally accepted laws of physics. To wit, anyone with newer ideas is (generally) ostracized.

  • where have you been ...

where have you been the past 600 years of natural philosophy? To the dude above you, though natural philosophy and theological inquiry have been detached in modern thought doesn't indicate that any connections resulting from such thought processes are naturally, or scientifically flawed. Both Newton and Einstein understood the world in a distinct fashion brought out by their theological inquiry, unlike the Feynman approach to physics ("understanding nature").

  • I definitely ...

I definitely wouldn't call physics a religion. That implies a level of dogma that no responsible scientist can adopt. Any idea in physics is fair game for criticism whereas criticizing relgious dogma often leads to violence.
