CHAPTER 56

Briana: I don't like it at all...

(They continue playing and Kevin and Aly keep talking. AJ is talking to Joe and Kerry and Briana doesn't know what to do... I mean, her own BOYFRIEND is ignoring her. After they finish the game, Kevin is still talking to Aly and Briana wants to know what's up so she walks up to Kevin.)

Briana: Baby, can I talk to you?
Kevin: Oh, um... yeah that's fine.
Briana: (she drags Kevin off to the side) What are you doing?
Kevin: Um, what are you talking about?
Briana: Aly! Why are you talking to her so much?
Kevin: I don't know, she's different than I thought.
Briana: Yeah, she's also your ex girlfriend.
Kevin: Briana, are you jealous that I'm TALKING to her?
Briana: No, just... don't ignore me!
Kevin: I'm not ignoring you.
Briana: Right, what did you say to me while we were playing?
Kevin: ...
Briana: Exactly.
Kevin: (grabs her hands) I'm sorry... I guess I was paying a lot of attention to Aly. I'm sorry Bri.
Briana: It's ok. I was just getting worried that you were falling for her again.
Kevin: (looks nervous) Uh, yeah, that would never happen.
Briana: You're... not falling for her again... are you?
Kevin: No, no way, I love YOU. Not her.
Briana: Ok good. I love you too. (she kisses him) Now, let's go back to the group.

*With Nick and Lana*

(They go back to their rooms and change. Lana is sitting on the bed waiting for Nick. He comes out wearing a jacket and his swim trunks.)

Lana: Not THIS again. (she smiles)
Nick: Don't worry, I'll take off the jacket when we get there.
Lana: Good.
Nick: Ready to go?
Lana: Hold on. (she kisses him) Now I am.
Nick: And you say I'M the dork?
Lana: Yeah, cause you are. (she smiles and walks out of the room)
Nick: Hey, wait for me!

(They walk to the pool and Lana sits on the edge with her feet hanging in the water. Nick takes off his jacket and jumps in the pool, then swims over to Lana. She smiles at him and he leans on her legs.)

Lana: Hello.
Nick: Hey, you gonna get in?
Lana: I don't want to...
Nick: Please?
Lana: (slides into the water) Happy?
Nick: Yep. (he wraps his arms around her then looks up) Miley?
Miley: (kneels next to the pool) Hey guys.
Lana: (pulls away from Nick) What are you doing here?
Miley: Just coming to say hey.
Nick: Well don't.
Miley: Listen, I know you guys both hate me, but I didn't think that Josh would be like this! He seemed like a sweet guy, I figured you'd be happy to see him. (she fake smiles)
Lana: How'd you even know he was my ex? I mean the only person I told was... (she looks up at Nick.) Nick...
Nick: What? NO! I didn't tell her! She must have found out some other way! I promise I said nothing.
Lana: (gets sad) Yeah, I mean... why would you do that...
Miley: Anyways, I here there's this great party tonight up here... you guys should TOTALLY come!
Lana: Sounds like fun. (she looks up at Nick again)
Miley: Ok, see you then! (she skips away)
Lana: I think I'm going to go. (she starts to get out of the pool but Nick grabs her arm)
Nick: Lana, I promise, I didn't say anything to her!
Lana: Right...
Nick: Lana! (he pulls her close to him) I would never do that. You know that I wouldn't. Ever. I would never do something to hurt you.
Lana: But how else could she have found out Nick?
Nick: I don't know... maybe she heard us talking... but I promise I never told her. (he kisses her) I love you to much to hurt you. (he smiles)
Lana: Ok... well... we better go get ready for that party.
Nick: Yeah... let's go.

*With Joe, Kerry, Briana, Kevin, Aly, and AJ*

Aly: So, you guys, there is this party on top deck tonight, you guys wanna come?
Kevin: Totally, that would be awesome!
AJ: How about you two? (she points to Joe and Kerry)
Kerry: Um... (looks at Joe and he shrugs and mouths 'could be fun') Sure. That would be awesome.
Aly: Cool, see you then.

(They walk away and when they are out of sight, they do a secret handshake. "Score, this is easier than I thought" Aly said to AJ. Meanwhile, Briana, Kerry, Joe, and Kevin were walking back to their rooms to get ready for the party.)
