The video is the slides from when Kevin Mitnick gave a talk on how to unmask caller-id @ last hope 2008. It shows the usage of a technique used with Asterisk while using service from Flowroute.com. The voice overs are done by me, hopefully this explains it a bit better than just having the video!

    if you're going to make an instructional video, don't just say "make some modifications to this here data" and then not explain what sort of modifications or how to make them. I don't know how anyone would learn anything useful from this video. Without more detail in it this is just a massive waste of space. so umm F**k you for wasting 10 minutes of my life trying to figure out what you were talking about.

    One can always spoof their originating callerID and ANI though. So there's no way to know that the information you've 'uncovered' is legit. The funny part is they use Asterisk here to uncover the info, but the spoofing of that data can also be done through *.
