A look inside my DIY homemade burning laser assembly (with commentary). I put everything together from scratch thanks to help from the guys at LPF. Sony 16x DVD Writer Laser Diode used with AixiZ Laser Module.

    Ahh man it's not as simple as that. Sourcing the laser diode and the module with lense was the hardest part and it's been such a long time ago..

    why do you need 12v ? looks nice, but you need some cooling on the laser housing.. Mine can stay on untill the betteries die with no heating at all..
