X-files Fight the Future Trailer

yeah so would be so stupid to not make a film in 2012 of the colonization. i loved the intimacy between mulder and scully in the new film but as far as the plot went it was sorely lacking.

I'm crazy about this movie. It was bigger, better and more powerful than most of the series. I'm a big X Files fan, and this does it for me. It shows what can happen when the creators of a TV show are given a much bigger budget, and more space to play with. I'm excited about the second one too, but i must admit, the trailers don't excite me the way this one did when i first seen it. When i seen this trailer years ago, all i could think about was Fight The Future. But this new one doesn't do that

I don't agree with you. The second film was (for the first time) quite as they said on magazines. A loner, not a mythologic episode. But we can hope that they would released a movie in 2012, with William and the conspiracy.

This movie was much better than the second one...thank god i watched it in a theatre back in 98....cause the current one is like a very boring episode that goes no where...truly disappointed in the new movie...

I'm just soooo glad there are informed people out there watching and able to keep us all "educated" about was zum Teufel los ist, because my memory has never been really all that great, but compared to most, I'm "in the loop" because of folks just like you educating me on WHAT I REALLY CONSIDER IMPORTANT! (SciFi buff should be my middle name!)

It reminds me of Carmina Burana, but I don't know IF that's really it...perhaps if you listen to Carmina Burana, and see if that's the music that you like? Trying to be helpful--it's hell not knowing the name of a performance!

This was a fantastic film which, although it came out in 1998, I think it does the franchise more justice than some of the other really more convoluted issues X-files tried to persue, despite their truly memorable themes (moth-men, genetic gulags, etc.) from the series. X-files may indeed to prove more popular in syndication, while in reruns, as the original Stark Trek, taking on a live of its own long after the original members of tbe ensemble have "moved on" for now there is a new X-files

Whats annoying though is that the new film has nothing to do with the main alien story. It'g going for a Monster of the Week plot instead. However if successful, a 3rd film for the stories conclusion and the predicted alien invasion of 2012 will be made.

I don't think the new movie is supposed to be a sequel to this movie, but a continuation of the series.

this trailer looks almost exactly like the one for the 2nd one. are they just remaking the movie? or is an actual sequal?

The only part missing was the very beginning of the trailer. It opened with Mulder sitting in a bar having a chat with the bartender. It's only about the first 15 seconds or so of the trailer, but everything else is here.
