i used to stay up tell 12am in chicago jus to wtach dis show and hear dis song.

damn first shinchiro makes the legendary cowboy bebop, then he makes another masterpiece samurai champloo. shinchiro watanabe is God. i love how he just blend different genre's together. from jazz/blues and cowboy's to samurai's and hip hop. i wonder wants going to be his next series. his probably the only person that can perfectly blend comedy and drama together.

Actually, it's better this way.
Shows that have a set in stone beginning and ending such as Champloo, Bebop, Wolf's Rain, etc. usually turn out as much better shows because they only have to concentrate on making 20-ish episodes.

By contrast, shows like Sailor Moon, Naruto, etc. have much longer runs due to having literally hundreds of episodes, but they lose a bit of overall quality for the sake of sheer longevity.
