RB25DET - (RB)RB series, (25)2.5 liter, (D)Duel Cam, (E)Electronic fuel injection, (T)Turbo charged. As in a single turbo.

The engine he's describing is the RB26DETT, which is a 2.6 liter Twin Turbo engine, as denoted by the "TT" in the engine code.

too much torque for such a light car, get a flat-plane crank V8 at 3.8L displacement, and you'll have MUCH more fun while staying in a straight line

well considering as how many people dont go by number or know what they stand for why would I use them when describing what I plan to do? Also I am not putting in the "RB25DET" I am putting in the 2000 version, the RB26DETT-N1 so that i can increase the turbos PSI past 14 PSI with out the risk of it shattering...

hi richard57686, i guessing you dont know much about cars let alone about skylines. let me give you the rundown, if you knew about the gt-r you wouldnt have said, "going to put a Skyline GTR engine in there w/ twin turbos.", if you knew what you were talking about you would have said your swaping for a RB25DET witch everyone knows it already comes stock w/tturbos. how do i know this you ask? well my dad happen to own a 93 R-32 RB25DET nissan skyline GT-R

Could do what I am doing with my 280zx, going to put a Skyline GTR engine in there w/ twin turbos.

Pretty close. My lil 240 only has 280 HP and it's insane. I can just imagine having a supercharger. I'll keep the straight 6 and add a turbo. The car drives 10 times better.

The driver I think is very skilled and the car is a work of beauty, but it is dangerous and unstable it seems.
