Anyways, Americans and Japaneses offered us one hell of a fight. Every day on pacific during those days was filled with total and brutal combat that world have never seen before! The only two states in the world that can presume to declare war on whole world are: Japan and Germany. Great nations! The only state that needed second a-bomb to surrender is Japan. And they surrendered only because it was decision made by Hirohito.

We needed to drop those bombs on Japan. They attacked us only due to the fact that the U.S. cut supplies to Japan and they figured it would be more convenient to invade us and take our reserves by force. They killed thousands because we wouldn't sell S**t to them. The U.S. needed to drop those bombs cause it was the only force great enough stop an alliance as strong as the axis. If we hadn't stopped the axis Hitler, Mussolini, and Hiro Hito could have taken over the world, and they almost did.

How can anyone comment on a serviceman's actions when you, obviously, have not experienced war deaths yourself. These comments against the US are from persons who not have a clue about what was goin on then, and NOW. To see Japan in 1941 as an innocent bystander...that is wicked sick!!! I will CERTAINLY vote for McCain now! Japan attacked us and we beat them back, making sure they stayed there. How can anyone say that is wrong....GOD FORBID had we occupied Japan. Japan attacked out of despertation. US retaliated with the nukes. It was war. End of story. Even you "liberals" will you not defend your child against an attacker??? I guess not. At least until they take your PETA capture or your Public Assistance away that the "Liberals" promote. Economic sanctions and oil embargo on the island nation of Japan by the US in part forced them into the war...we did it in response to their resource R**e of China,they claimed they were liberating China from the yoke of European imperialism....while the international bankers licked their chops in thinking of the profits from war.

What clever societies we have built but we lack the wisdom to learn and make better for our children what misery we have lived with in the past.

the japs killed innocent American civilians at Pearl Harbor. Not all who died there were military. An eye for an eye, those bombs were. I know the repercussions from the bombs continue but the fact is if they didn't attack Pearl Harbor, they wouldn't be suffering today. A rule of war is to attack only military? Hitler attacked CITIES, countries, and millions of civilians. What the japs did to us is a drop in the bucket compared to what the Nazi's did to civilians and military across Europe
