This is my intermediate version of I'll Fly Away on guitar. I've tried to post the tab using my camera in my computer. It's not great, but it's better than nothing for those who'd like to learn it. Get to pickin'!!
Taylor 614-ce....it's an old one. They don't hardly make 'em like that anymore.

thanks
Bjo Ben,
This is just what I am have been looking for!!! I have bought books and videos that will show you licks till they come out your ears. But nothing on how and where to apply them. I think that if a new picker can learn guitar solos for songs that are known to them than they can pick out the licks in the song and apply them to other songs where they can make them fit. That would help me out alot. Also, good try on the tab but I couldn't make out skwat.
I will help you out for helping me out... if you send me a message I will get you some tab software... and a video overlay program so you can scroll those tabs while your doing you lesson thing... I come from a long line of blue grass pickers but I wasted my youth learning songs to impress women, I wanna learn how to flat pick better to impress myself, and cuz I cant afford lessons this is the route imma take! shoot me a PM friend.

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I discovered your channel a month ago and have practiced more in the last month than I have since I quit music school 5 years ago.
PS. I think the slowed down version of this break sounds great, too.
OMG. I couldn't stop laughing when you put the tab up to the camera. So funny.
Thanks for the videos. They're great
Banjo Ben,
Hi, I have a request. It's another old hymn called Angel band. Emmylou Harris, the Stanley Brothers, and the Peasall Sisters all have versions. It's one of my favorites. Anyway, I enjoy your videos. Thanks for posting um'.
Guitar Ben: from good ol' PA.
I bet your a hoot to be around..So genuine!
Awesome talent and If you cant pick up anything here you need to be picking your nose! Very helpful and worth my Internet fee any month!
Thanks again,
STEVE H

By BanjoBen1 [Affiliate User] 1204088876 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewow. your AWESOME. i just got a new guitar and banjo and im starting to get lessons
hopefully i can get as good as you.
im already really really great at the piano. lol . my whole family is very musical talented!!!
nice job<3
I think some people do, man. I don't personally do it that way. I think more in terms of what notes or melody I want to hear, then I find my position that allows it to happen. I think you learn more that way, though it takes longer. Positions are great to know, for sure. I just don't think with that mindset.
