I saw Eric in '68 in San Francisco at the Filmore when he was with Cream. One of their last shows. He set the place on fire with the most amazing guitar performances the world has ever seen. This man stood there like a statue with sweat rolling down his face, his guitar screaming! Ginger Baker beating his drums to pieces. This is when Eric Clapton was a musician. What you'll see now is a businessman. A masquerades. A sell out. A POP star. Just another whore in a world full of whores.

Clapton really does a great job of improvising the guitar parts while on stage. If you listen to some of his other live work, it never sounds exactly the same, he always adds some great blues riffs into the song.

i actually wrote this song, it was first performed by me in a batman suit on my lougeroom coffe table and clapton took it he was staying down the road at a retreat i guees he can take some credit cause he was in the room when i wrote it

And if you don't like Clapton, that's fine, but don't waste your time insulting fans of him and his music because they enjoy a different style than you, Blanckfrack.

I actually like his blues covers on the past blues heroes. He admits he does'nt write alot of songs and all. I think he is a quality musician, comparing him with a pair of jeans is wrong.
