Name another car ? How about any FIA World Rally Car, or an older Group A. They could all do the same, Even the American Ford Focus WRC which just so happen to win the manufacturer's title in the 2006 FIA WRC. And that car is not alright, I definitely saw random parts flying off on impact.

also, if you look at the subaru site. it seems as if cars are first designed with safety in mind, then rally, and converted into road cars. the roll cage prrobably saved the chassis from being irrepairable.

If im not mistaken, in the 93 WRC, when legacys were still in use, they were constantly getting 3rd place winswith cars that endeed up 1 or 2 wheel drive at the end of the race

What kind of a know-it-all comment is that? Must it be a mess, old boy? Block drove the car in just fine after the jump. Name me a car other than Subaru that (1) makes that jump, and (2) drives away from it. And guess what?, the chassis might be OK. Check out WRC, those cars go through worse than this. "The chassis must be a mess" yak yak yak. You americans. The chassis of any american car would be a mess, but it could not make the jump in the first place.

actually do your research and part of fuji heavy industries(parent company of subaru) and some of subaru started with aircraft engines :D
