He was sinless from the beginning but took the cup as a sin offering so that we may have a way to God, john 14:6 "I am the way the truth & the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." [jesus said].. its not about sect or religion. it's about having faith in Him as your Lord & Savior. He is God from the beginning.

moose1223, being Christian requires faith there is no way i can prove to you jesus lived,as there is no way i can prove to you caesar lived, but you believe he did- none of us were there and the TRUTH is that there is 1 way to avoid spending an ETERNITY(think about that word for a moment)in hell burning forever and that is by believing that Jesus was born,lived,suffered,and died and then rose from the grave so we can go to heaven

It's not only that he died, but that He is risen! Jesus has defeated death and offers everlasting life to everyone who trusts and believes in Him. He suffered so you won't have to, but you have to chose to serve Him, he won't force you.

Well, I don't believe. I think it's fairly strange to believe in something written so long ago by, what today would be called, a sect and hold so strongly to it.
What is this truth every christian keeps referring to? That jesus died? Well bravo.. please explain, someone?

We're lucky because our faith is locked deep inside our hearts. And now we can't turn away and we can't betray Jesus without enormous feeling of guilt and clear understanding that we're doomed to fail without him.
