With Starship Troopers i meant the movie, where you see the ships in orbit being destroyed by blue plasma and then the human teams are sent to the planet with little dropships. It's totally the same. About opposing force i meant when the soldiers are on elicopter, hit by aliens and the starring who can't move watching his mates dying around, very similar
