    Don't forget gloves! There's a lot less protective meat over your hands than on your back.

    You don't even have to get leathers, just a good riding jacket and pants for day to day stuff. I've been off my GSX-R twice both time at 70 or 80km/h (~50mph) and got up without a scratch on me :)
