Why did most top pop/rock & roll singers/groups in the 50s & 60s have a horn & orchestra section like Frank Sinatra and the manyLas Vegas-New Orleans type of singers from the 1930s to 1960s. I have always felt that the brass and orchestra section is the most beautiful powerful part of all styles of music. Chicago & Elvis Presley even figured that necessity out bringing it in his concerts. The Beatles, the Stones,Led Zeppelin & others should have done more with that section in their music.

Where do you think Hendrix got his inspiration, he went to an Elvis concert when he was like 12, he was so affected he went home and made a drawing of him with all the songs he sang, Its in a museum somewhere.
