    There's both a 4.6 and a 4.0 here if you look closely. Look for the difference in rims. 3 spoke - 4.0 SE, 5 spoke - 4.6 HSE. Both did equally well.

    There are some custom manufacturers out there. i know of some here in Australia, but I'm sure there are some in Old Blighty. Unfortunately, due to the low build quality of the P38, they must be measured and fitted on a car by car basis. Same with rear bumper/wheel carriers. that's why nobody has mass produced them for sale.

    Thanks mate. The P38's are extremely capable off-roaders. A little common sense and some technique goes along way, as you suggested. I agree with brute force - have that on tap with my 4.6 if necessary. Particularly on the sand dunes of Stockton Beach. Very handy. But equally satisfying to perform the same as others with much less effort and much more pomp and ceremony. Ease, if you will. It pisses the others off no end. ;-)
