Aint No Sunshine when She's Gone - Lighthouse Family (Notting Hill Soundtrack 1999 OST)

The Bill Withers original "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone" was covered by a British duo called Lighthouse Family in 1999. Their version was used in the Julia Roberts / Hugh Grant movie Notting Hill soundtrack (Track9).

The track was also included in Lighthouse familys Greatest Hits album released in 2002 (Track 9). Tunde Baiyewu was the vocalist and Paul Tucker was the keyboard player. This is a widescreen video mode edition.

In the late 90s when MP3 and P2P file sharing started to become common, a person omitted Lighthouse Familys name and replaced it with Lenny Kravitz before uploading it. There are now plenty of false credited versions (unofficial) out there which is the reason why so many people have been confused to who the real artist is.

Those who have purchased any of the three official CDs will know that this cover version was recorded by Lighthouse family and not Lenny Kravitz. The three official CDs are:
