I had the distinct pleasure of sitting down with Arlo after a concert and talking with him for an hour or so. He came out of the dressing room long after the show had ended and a simple hello/autograph turned into an extended conversation about anything and everything. He is a true American original...tremendous wit and a very genuine and down to earth person.

I wish to deny no one a voice. For it is a government supposedly "of the people, by the people, and for the people."

Is this song Woody Guthrie's artistic property? bit of an ironic question but in the UK there's these "comedians" 'Skinner and Baddiel' who have a show called 'it'll never work' and they use TLIYL as their signature music "it'll never work-it'll never work...etc."
