Our grand daughters, Olivia and Jacklyn jumped on stage along with Annie Guthrie. Arlo stops the song to tell a story his dad Woody used to tell.
This was Abe's last night playing with Arlo after twenty years. (He'll be back in a couple of years)He is looking forward to working in the recording studio and being home with his family.
im related to him, seriusly, i am, our last name is that, is he alive?

He came out of the dressing room long after the show had ended and a simple hello/autograph turned into an extended conversation about anything and everything. He is a true American original...tremendous wit and a very genuine and down to earth person.

Nor 'evil' corporations, though it sounds like what you're implying. No. There are people who don't work, who live off the land and don't want the government messin' around in their lives, who don't want Americans killing and being killed in unnecessary wars and who don't want us propping up foreign dictators. Would you deny those citizens - or any citizen - a voice?

By Jagtarro [Affiliate User] 1199911603 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis irresistible song - words by Woody Guthrie, music from an old Carter Family hymn - has legitimately become an American treasure. One has to listen to more than the first verse to realize that it is a protest song against injustice rather than a tribute to the perfection of America.

Arlo a slave? For doing what he wanted to do and enrichenig the lives of many people his entire life?
again...you are a sad person.
Is this song Woody Guthrie's artistic property? bit of an ironic question but in the UK there's these "comedians" 'Skinner and Baddiel' who have a show called 'it'll never work' and they use TLIYL as their signature music "it'll never work-it'll never work...etc."
