She says her lawyer says the republican states are especially bad like NH and TX. It bears repeating; the first thing these awful people do is take away prisoners medications. AFAIK, there are no standards anywhere when hiring people like wardens and guards, people who have granted themselves the moral authority to punish people. IMO, they are nothing but common torturers.

I just wrote a character reference for a friend who is going to court for stealing a $38 bracelet. I happen to think she suffers from kleptomania. She says she is fine when she's on her meds. Oddly, her father was a state supreme court judge, but her mother was BPD. If convicted, she'll go to jail (umpteenth offence) and the first thing they do is take away the meds, and it takes about 90 days to get them back. My argument is she has a medical issue and her interests as a citizen
