LSFD was dispatched to a reported fire in the area of the American Legion Hall on Central. First unit on scene (Fire Six) Advised of a working fire which was clear as day from Cemtral and Dekalb. I have to say, this was team work and great communication at its best. Multiple lines were pulled and an aggressive exterior attack waas made. Nobody was injured and investigators will be working the scene. Just a note, this building was raided about two months ago by LSPD for distribution so one can guess this was arson. Major props to the Lake Station FD. Special thanks to Car 6, Car 4, Chief James, and last but not least Car 2. Thank you for all your efforts in town!!!!!!
"I think not!" You got that right you don't think... You talk about things you know nothing about...

It was hit from the outside to knock it down and protect the garage behind it from catching fire as well. And just to be clear one more time MYSELF AND SEVERAL OTHERS WENT IN THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR AND ADVANCE HOSE LINES TO THE REAR OF THE STRUCTURE AND PUT OUT THE REMAINING FIRE. And by the way if you were as good as you think you are you would be able tell that the structure was 30 feet deep not 60.

You must be a legend (in your own mind). By the way if you do a proper size up (thats part of modern fire fighting tactics.) then you can determine where the seat of a fire is.. I.E. one corner is free burning and the rest isn't. Oh, and if you read one of your books about modern firefighting tactics, you will see a section on aggressive exterior attack...

By FirefighterMythBustr [Affiliate User] 1250356497 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWell lets see when we arrived it was on fire. When we left it wasn't. The fire was contained to the rear corner of the building where it started... That sounds like we did a pretty good job to me.. And if you had been there you wouldn't be making the uneducated uninformed comments that you are... And you probably would have let the building burn to the ground instead of saving it like we did...
