CityNightLine was acquired by Deutsche Bahn in 2007 from Swiss Railways. The train services major cities across Europe and is operated by night as the name says. I filmed the train on February 16th 2011 at Hamburg main station on departure towards Zurich Hbf, shortly before 8pm.The service is hauled by an electronic loco class 101-145-1 which is commonly used on long distance journeys. At the end of the video the station voice announces the next departing train from the opposite platform.
