I have not used any technology that cost £7 Billion or put anyone's life at risk (apart from those who did experiments at the time). Mistake may not be a sure thing, but humankind has made lots of em. In 35 years we've wiped out a third of the world's species, so our track record is piss poor, yet we still smugly pat each other on the back. If even a slight chance of negative reaction, then its foolish..And in the scientists own words "they have no idea of the outcome". Wait for the ricochet...

Sure humans make mistakes all the time, but human precision got men and women to space and back safely. Humans managed to work out the amazing equations and precision to land a craft on the moon.
I'm not saying we are perfect by any means, but I am saying we have done some pretty amazing things. Mistake is not a sure thing.

the earth doesn't have enough matter to create a black hole let-alone sustain one you need at least five times the mass of our sun to be compressed to a near singular size to create one and the LHC doesn't posses enough energy to matter power to create one so stop boo hooing i mean this supposedly sets year zero for time travel on earth just hope we get a visitor from a few billion years in the future as its more than possible to do now we just don't have the ability to manipulate it yet.
