    the problem with this song simply put is that B. has taken a beautiful prayer song and turned it into an R&B song. it's just plain stupid to say, something like you were my last, my first... Ama Maria. What does one statment have to do with Holy Mary, or Hail Mary, as in Hail Mary Mother of God. Don't get me wrong, I think B, has a great voice. I don't necessary like her music, which is MY CHOICE. Just like im sure everyone on this site does not like ALL music. Ava Maria is a prayer not R&B

    It's not a remake - it's a brand new song. I don't particularly like Beyonce's music, however this song tells a beautiful story and shows off her pure voice in a way that most of her music does not. We'll be hearing this song for many, many years on the radio stations that play Christmas music 24 hours a day.

    I'm not trying to start an argument or anything but this is classic....It's something that shouldn't be remixed or changed. I'm not hating on her or anything because her voice is pretty. I just wished she didn't mess with the song and just sing it as written. That's what it was made for. I'm entitled to my own opinion and you are too. That's what you think and this is what I think.
