The Dahlback Golf is turbocharged, and the actual F1 engines are NA...Think about it...

800 hp with 10 cylinder! hans dahlback with his golf rsi make 950 h/p and thats aaudi engin 5 cylinder 2.2l from old car!

hate to point out this to you but the last time engine power was the most important factor in making a GP winner was in the 1950's, today all F1 designers will tell you 75 percent of the performance comes from a well designed chassis. In 2002 BMW was widely believed to be the strongest engine by far,but since the Williams FW24 was nowhere near as good as the Ferrari F2002 that didn't matter, and this is also one of the reasons BMW left Williams to make their own team...

For your info a Top fuel car with nitromethanol and supercharger makes around 7500hp from 8,2litres which is 915hp/litre (no problem it is not racing more than a few seconds anyway) when a Brabham-BMW 1,5litre straight 4 turbo made over 1400hp in 1983(!) which is 933hp/litre (and it is supposed to last for 1 hour of qualifying) and that was baed on the BMW M10 roadcar engine designed in 1961. Look up the BMW M10 engine on wikipedia

BMW's own dyno only went to 1400hp.. Power vs displacement..

top fuel dragsters have monstrous superchargers too and have some potent nitrofuel and are designed to be raced for a few seconds, they also have a lot bigger displacement

will they rev to 19000rmp? and last for two long races at over 380miles plus qualifying?

fuel efficiency? powerband? drivebility? none of these crucial factors need to be taken into consideration for dragsters

ever seen what high tech materials they use in F1 engines? how light they are? power to weight NA engines??

Engine power for displacement a F1 engine is in a league of its own. 300hp/litre is unheard of and remember Superchargers and Turbos do NOT count.

Make another engine that can be revved to 19000rpm for two races 600kilometres each,that's 370miles.
