No actually it has helped my rotator cups.I tore both of mine back in the early 90s doing bench press flyes.These drills can help you as long as you don't rush it.

i have a question...when i train my arms pay attention to my rotator cup. 99% of people i seen punch/train, punch wrong being that they put stress on their cup. do you think that particular training you've shown put unneccassary pressure on your shoulders? it looks like it to me but i'm not sure bout how you feel while trainin.

LOL.There is a platform that keeps it up with 2 slanted boards supporting it.One of my students for me 11 yrs ago for a birthday present.
