  • That helicopter ...

That helicopter crash was not from chernobyl, neither was the footage, however the pictures are. When film is used in radioactive areas the high amount of particle activity in the open causes flashes of light to show on the film, which there was none

  • Sorry to say but ...

Sorry to say but all of the pictures are 100% REAL. I don't know how links work on youtube because I know they sensor most of them out, so I will tell you what to look up in google. If you just copy and paste "inmotion magnum chernobyl" without the quotes, and click on the first link, it will take you to the slide show :)

  • And created a huge ...

And created a huge explosion once the steam finally escaped. The entire reactor was brought down in blinding flash of light and nuclear fallout traveled all around the world. Belorussia and Ukraine were hit hardest, but fallout from the "accident" was found as far north as Sweden and the general radiation levels of the entire world went up. Thyroid cancer rated in Belorussia skyrocketed almost 3000 percent, and many thousands are still suffering from the devastating affects of radiation.

  • Sorry but it was ...

Sorry but it was the Ukrainians :) The Soviet Union caused this with their negligence. The "higher-ups" knew that if the reactor was brought below 25% that it would become unstable. The people in the control room of the reactor called to confirm that's what the "higher-ups" wanted. And it was, so the reactor was brought down below 25% power to do a test to see if the coolant system would still work (I believe if I remember correctly). Steam built up beneath the platform that held the uranium...

  • This tragedy should ...

This tragedy should stand as a example of the need to stop the use of this kind of energy. An example for the whole WORLD. Some how it is being suppressed a great deal. If it weren't for YouTube and like sources, we would never have seen any of this. Here in the States we heard about it, but I'm sure many thought "it's over there not here", but that is not true, this could affect the entire earth. Who is to say it hasn't already in some way.

  • bury your head in ...

bury your head in the radioactive sand and see how your kids turn out....Typical Soviet union cover up, cutting corners and under budgeting. It was a safety test which caused the explosion but the soviets didnt install vital safety equipment to detect the outcome. Truth is that the area surrounding chernobyl will be uninhabitable for thousands of years
