  • Finallly, ...

Finallly, Mahaganesh wished to have his head cut off by Shiva in order to obtain the elephants head in his manifestation. He felt that this helps others to respect animals while giving respect to divinity.
ok..i'm done and I apologise if i'm off on this..I think Lord Shiva, Mahaganesh and Shakti are outstanding. I am Buddhist but I have respect and faith in these divinities as well.
    all the best! :)

  • As for Ganesh's " ...

As for Ganesh's "leela" I take that to mean that he see's everything, where on a much more mundane level let's say that a highly aware person can do a good deed for someone but knowing that person will react in a bad way..even so it is necessary to have given the boon. In this way Ganesh knows the laws of karma and does what is needed while doing what he can to manipulate energy for the greatest good.

  • Shiva himself did ...

Shiva himself did not understand how the situation with Parvati and Ganesh escalated to that point..but on a deeper level understood that Mahaganesh had wished it to be so. Shiva is not a mundane being. Higher than a god. He works with Ganesh in order to give meaningful lessons and to play with the karmic energy for the benefit of everyone.

  • I studied Ganesh a ...

I studied Ganesh a bit and it is not always as simple as it seems. These odd things like Ganesh having an elephants head or having it cut off by Shiva all have very profound meanings. It is said that Mahaganesh predestined those things since everything goes according to his "leela." What I take from this is that Ganesh wishes good for all beings. Sometimes it is necessary to take on different appearances or traits in order to do so.
