Trigger's jump LOOKS longer and more impressive on video, particularly since it APPEARS like he got more height, but Ryan's jump is officially longer and higher. I think Ryan's landing ramp makes the jump appear a little less impressive. Either way, both Trigger and Ryan have incredible skill and courage!

1) Many 250's do have 2 gears and i own a 1997 RM250 that has 6 gears so im preeetty sure i know. 2) mx2tom and redblueyellowbmx are the only people here making sense at the moment. so its that easy is it then what about controling your bike whilst in the air i dont think so mate it takes years of hard work and training to learn how to control your bike and have a pretty good judgement of your bike and the jump 1 mph too fast or 1 mph too slow and your either dead or paralized for the rest of your life.

There may be guiness rules of how long the landing ramp can be, notice his landing ramp is extremely long and closer to the launch ramp which may disqualify his actual distance. Triggers jump was almost all gap between the launch ramp and the landing area.

His bike was geared to go 79mph in 4th gear and he didn't even touch fifth gear until the last jump. Even then he was only in the low th mid range rpms which make up most of his powerband.

you clearly do not know what it takes to jump like that and on top of that he did it in 6th if you have ever seen him jump in person you would get it he crashed off like 170 footer and he was an inch shorter you crash off 300+ your dead end of story 125 MPH not pretty
