A failed attempt at recreating the popular cellphone popcorn popper. The phones do not actually create enough power to pop the corn. If you can successfully do this experiment, please post a video response and explain how it works.

    Nope. I need a magnetron. That is the device that creates the microwaves in the microwave oven. The original videos posted were created by Cardo Systems as a commercial for Bluetooth devices. The cellphones don't have near enough power to do this so they mounted a magnetron underneath the table to pop the corn. You notice the phones with the vibration turned on move around the table, while the ones in the other vids stay put even though they also have vibration turned on. Because it is fake.
