Hi kendobad. Actually, stat does mean immediately. I think the interpretation of "at once" may be sometimes confusing - e.g. "Be in my office at once" is equivalent to "Be in my office stat." Stat doesn't actually refer to a quantity / entirety. Do a search on a medical dictionary online and you'll find the definition, if you'd like to be certain.

Its so true. I am also pharmacy student. Nobody recognises us as experts in drugs. Doctors dont know as much abouth drugs as wee do. In this field we are more competent than they are.

I'm finishing up pharmacy school myself and wanted to say best of luck to those in the PharmD curriculum now. It's doable!! This video cracked me up. I've had more pharmacotherapy training in the last 2 weeks of class than most physicians get altogether (they don't even have interactive therapy based courses in med school). People will never appreciate us, but I'm happy at the end of the day when I know my intervention saved some lives that day. Only we can change the future of our carrer!

I'm a future pharmacist as well and working currently as a pharmacy student and MY GOD --- those irritating patients and nurses and ignorant doctors just peeve me off! AHHH!

I'm a pharmacy tech, and this is soooo funny..... when you delay the patient's time in trying to help them, all you get is crap !!! Don't they value us that we have their health and well-being as first priority? It will NEVER change...I enjoyed this video :)

I've been working in the pharmacy for only about 2 years now, but let me tell you this hit the nail on the head! All the video is missing is patients coming up and yelling at her because their insurance doesn't cover it and tell her it's her fault because she didn't do something right! haha

I had a script come in written for Robitussin AC and the sig was to "Squirt twice up each nostril"

Glad you caught it though. I've had a few patients scream at us though when we tell them that we had to verify the medication since the dosing was too high or there were drug interactions. You'd think they'd be glad we caught it.

I think I'll be using this song in my first day of work... Pharmacy here I come! Respect!
