In respond to your 2nd part of question, why is such huge difference in term of style.

Yim Wing Chun's hushand Leung Bok-Lao had taught few students in red junk. Our Lineage was branched from Painted face Kam (Luk Kam) and Yip Man style was branched from Wong Wah-bo.

If you had played a game with 10 people lined up, first person tell the 2nd person a sentence then 2nd one pass it on to the 3rd person. And so on & so forth. Eventually the result will be different (Deviation).

Guangzhou Wing Chun is well known within southern China because of Sum Nung's teaching during 1950s ~ 1970s in Canton area.

As Yip Man moved to Hong Kong during 1950s and focus to teach there and later his students had shared the art worldwide.
Therefore, most oversea people known Yip Man's style Wing Chun (also known as Hong Kong Wing Chun) other than our style.

The Guangzhuou Style is definitely different. I never knew there was a different style.

There's just something I don't get though. If Yip Man learned his Wing Chun from Leung Bik and Sum Nung from Yeun Kay San.

Why is there such a huge difference in term of style? Which style is more true to the form then?
