Keira Knightley's Womens Aid - Domestic Violence Ad 2009

Glad u think this is funny, violence in any form is wrong, no matter who is doing it to who, and most certainly no laughing matter. I have had 3 violent partners and currently have to see a psychologist to try and find out why I seem to attract violent men. Not pleasant, as also I now suffer with clinical depression, borderline agrophobia, and desperately low self esteem and confidence, believe me its not funny in the slightest

Wake up and smell the coffee is anyone a fan of domestic violence, of course its real, what is the point of showing an ad which will not put the point across in a way that is not obvious. I truly think that anyone who thinks this ad is wrong has been fortunate enough not to be a victim, and choses to ignore it, My scars from the stabbings and cuts from fists are living proof of it, and if u choose not to accept this happens well u always can turn over channels and pray it never happens to you!

Having been a victim of domestic violence, I find this advert a very good example showing people how it can happen to anyone, not just the poorer section of the community. Yeah its unpleasant to watch, but not half as unplesant as being used as a punch bag for some violent partner. On Loose Women yesterday they complained at the violence of the ad and how they dont want to see it in their homes, well do any of us, especially those it happens to. Any help this charity gets is money well spent.

this need to get shown if it doent then they may as well hide the fact that abuse desnt happen which it does it will show how bad it is and btw superb acting miss knightley
