The biblical God is seen as the God of the universe- that everyone has rejected. Religious or not, our default position is alienation from God because we are sinners. Therefore, yes- everyone that doesn't turn to Christ remains unsaved from judgement. That is why Christians go relatively crazy with evangelism.. to tell those people about the God who'll save them.

well in those totalitarian regimes religion was worship of the state so it 's more a transfer of loyalties my friend. A true atheist community has never been formed as far as i know. Can you point me to one?

Well I was originally brought up as an agnostic, but I can tell you that I am utterly convinced that the God of the bible is true.

I don't have too many arguments for my religion over the next, although I have a few reasons why I don't believe in Islam. I have read part of the Quran, so I'm not ignorant of other religions.
