A compilation of the best solos (or at least, my favorites), from Richie Sambora including:
Wanted dead or alive,
You give love a bad name,
Living on a prayer,
Lay your hands on me,
Homebound train,
Bad medecine,
Born to be my baby,
Keep the faith,
Dry county,
Bed of roses,
These Days,
Next 100 years
and again Wanted dead or alive, acoustic version.

Hope you enjoy those great guitar solos! (I would have like to put more, but the video would have been TOO long)

Sorry for the bad sound transition sometimes...

If you want the audio version (.WAV) , send me a message and give me your e-mail adresse, I'll send it to you.

  • Don't even start to ...

Don't even start to compare yourself to Richie. I am not a guitar tech, so I don't know ALL the lingo, but I DO know talent/skill when I see it. If you have seen Richie's solos, and still think he is average, you don't know how to constitute a great guitarist from an average one. Like I said before, it is not about playing solos really fast(it's not really even music), it's how you play the solos theat really matter. I have even seen him live. Trust me, I KNOW.

  • ok, dokken and ratt ...

ok, dokken and ratt are two of the most average 80s bands and if you think the same scales and arpeggios in every song constitutes a guitar god, you are sorely mistaken. one of the things that makes richie above average is his ability to play so many different styles. he is definitely one of the most versatile guitarists ive ever seen. if you think tapping and pick sweeps make people better than blues guitarists, thats just plain wrong. people like gilbert and batio arent even comparable to rich

  • You haven't stated ...

You haven't stated what skills he uses. I've seen his solos. He uses the same picking patterns all the way through. He has no skills that sets him apart from other guitarists. I've seen the one from 1987, and it's mostly just pick scrapes and tremolo picking on one string, which is really easy for a beginner. Even I can do it, and I S**k Technique is not his strong point.

Why don't you find any special techniques he uses in his songs and point me to them

  • You just proved my ...

You just proved my point. Not all guitarists need to tap or any of that stuff. Just by looking at any video footage of Richie, you can plainly see his skill/technique.
