The Klm's Piolt is such an Ass!!! It is all his fault that the plane had crashed, he needed to listen to instructions and not do what he wanted to do. It is all because of him that hundreds of people died what an ASS!!!

2:10 The air traffic controller should have called the taxiway as "C4" or "Charlie 4" instead of "the third exit." They also should have had guys out there to guide/alert the pilots where to turn. Hindsight is 20/20.

I absolutely agree. However, if all those mistakes hadn't lined up just right, the accident wouldn't have taken place.

so what exactly happened to the klm plane? did it just light up like a christmas tree?

From what has been presented here, it's clear the KLM was at fault for taking off too soon.

also the co pilot is even smarter then the pilot in KLM. He was responsible of getting clearance

poor weather and klm didnt get ATC clearance and decided alright lets go and crash into the other plane

No ground radar, poor communication but in the end a pilot WHO STARTED TO ROLL/Takeoff without having received a takeoff clearance ffs!

Van zanten... the worlds greatest pilot. he was trying to take off because he obviously didnt expect the pan am to still be on the runway. nice though

The worst part is that runway incursions such as this happen all the time. ALL THE TIME. Big one here in Boston at Logan. Luck and skill prevented almost 500 eople from dying here. There's still hardly any system to prevent it. Good luck flying everyone.
