A lonely Edmontosaurus wanders into a Dromaeosaurus pack territory. The faster and more smarter raptors attack the duck-billed dinosaur and manages bring it down, though one or two of the pack members are killed by the herbivore in the process as well. A T-rex then comes to after being attracted by the noise.

    if predator x's size is legit, then it's got liopleurodon easily. the average size of a lio was roughly 40 feet, about the size of a rex. as for comparing rex and predator x, you can't: two entirely different environments with two entirely different kinds of creatures. T-rex would never have even come close to one of them because it was never near to the sea. it's safe to say that t-rex was the most powerful, dominant predator ever. no other land predator had that combo of size and brute power
