I had a shih tzu for 15 years. He was so smart. His tongue would hang out sometimes too. So friggin cute.

Gotcha. I see alot of dogs that have their tongues out like that and its usually do to missing teeth or some crazy over/under bite. Sometimes of course the tongue is just too much for their little mouths.
