I just found some high quality photos that illustrate the amazing, stunning and breathtaking 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony.

The background music of this slide show is a typical ethnic Yi folk song sung by Li, Huaixiu, a well-known ethnic Yi Chinese singer who won the gold medal of the 12th National Youth Singing Contest in 2006. The title of this song is "Flying Up Golden Bird and Silvery Bird". I believe that many golden birds and silvery birds will fly up from the Beijing Olympic playfield.
