Seventeen-year-old forward Juan Agudelo, the first product of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy to make an appearance for the U.S. Men's National Team, became the youngest player to score in the modern era as the U.S. defeated South Africa 1-0 to win the 2010 Nelson Mandela Challenge in Cape Town, South Africa.
