The record is played on my "His Master's Voice" portable gramophone, "Serie 102c" - green leather case (1938).

    You're right. It's one of my favorite orchestras, and one of my favorite songs, but the arrangement doesn't quite fit. But that only shows that if you're a great innovator who takes alot of musical risks, they can't all work out. STILL better than half the stuff that comes out these days!
