  • Hi everyone! Just ...

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you all know, that I think " The Legend Of The Lone Ranger" finally galloped it's way on to DVD. I saw sellers on E-bay taking pre-orders for it, with an August 25th release date! They're saying it's a North American region 1 disc. LET'S KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED!

  • Yeah, I agree that ...

Yeah, I agree that the producers blew this badly. They did indeed treat Clayton Moore badly. It was really heartless to take the mask away from him. The man had little to no career after "The Lone Ranger" ended and was making a living from Lone Ranger appearances. The producers of "The Legend Of The Lone Ranger" basically took Clayton Moore's bread and butter away from him. I happen to like "The Legend Of The Lone Ranger" but hate the behind the scenes politics that helped seal the movie's fate.

  • Hi careyleefisher I ...

Hi careyleefisher I remember when the hype for this was coming out late 1980. And to tell the truth all the Clayton Moore fans were eager for a NEW LONE RANGER what pissed people off was not the new actor but the dickhead producer who stopped Clayton from wearing his mask at public app. Sorry but that P.R. just blew in the producers face.

Not as bad a movie as it seems. I like the origin story plus Christopher Lloyd who is the real star of this movie.

  • I agree, ...

I agree, Clayton-even though he could've improved a bit on the acting-was still the best of the best for that role. They've made so many Lone Ranger's since then but he IS the Lone Ranger, not anyone else. Him and Jay Silverheels will always be the greatest western duo America's ever seen. Forever Lone Ranger and Tonto!!!
