that looked kinda lucky... but I have no idea what the other fighters fight like in other matches, so i can't really put forward a valid comment... but it did look like a jaw floor to me :P

I fight in amatuer kickboxing, and I would suggest saving the explosion for near end round ko's, but then agian if you get knocked out that fast your out of your league or he just got lucky

yah i was in the ITF... it was a cool ass experience but forms were pissing me off... muay thai and reg kickboxing is more my thing

lol yah, thats proper taekwondo which uses upper body aswell as lower- the international Taekwondo Federation (ITF)The one i am in is the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) which only uses kicks, although i have seen a few fights where when they are locked in- use punches to the chest for points. wierd?

yah a strong, fearless, confident mind set will win alot of fights... i also did TKD for a little bit... i noticed that TKD fighters focus on kicking wich is always a plus, but lack boxing skills... if your opponent is slow with his roundhouse kicks then jab him alot

oh yah UFC fights are generally over very quickly, anything goes, it depends on how willing the other fighter is to jump on their opponents and not give them a second breathe, you need a strong mindset to COMPLETLEY kick the crap outa someone.

I'm gonna be fighting in a amatuer Taekwondo fight in England- two rounds i believe of 1:15, i'm trying to prepare for anything so i don't freak out and be relaxed, let him make the mistakes.

nah u aint wrong, that sounds pretty good to me... i mean im no pro but i pay attention to fighting when i watch it... UFC was on the other day and the one fight was over in like 5 seconds by a one leg power punch to the jaw... it was gnarly

really? im entering my first fight in 3 weeks i may try something like that and come out explosive.

On the other hand relaxing and letting him come out at YOU and moving out the way is sometimes better against someone whos throwing EVERYTHING at you. A light tap on the back of the head reminds him whos got the point and makes him come after you more, am i wrong?
