This Monster Truck is very special
it started life out as
High Roller one of the first monster trucks
the it became Vista for a Volkswagon dealer
it ended up in a auto salvage yard and then Jeff Strand bought it and rebuilt it in 1986.

New frame, costome interior and replast the 2½T axles with 5Tons that Were Heavy modefied.

This is the only street legan Monster Truck in the world and its still street legal

Engine: 428 Cobra Jet Police

Horsepower: 700

Transmission: C-6 W/Custom Gear Set

Suspension: Leaf Spring

Tires: 66x43x25 inches Goodyear Terras

Axles: Highly Modified 5-Ton Rockewll Military:

Height: 11 feet 10 inches

Width: 12 feet

Date Built: 1978 (originally) 2 1/2 ton axles, 50x24x20 tires, reinforced frame

Date Rebuilt: 1986 (with present frame)

    great footage.. longview,bremerton, mollola..awesome..many places ive been ha ha close to home..and yes that was digger he was racing against..cool thing is jeff alway had the same engine more or less a N/A big block ford on gas..and he was competeing against blown alc trucks.. reson being he had skills..from driving everwhere...a couple summers ago we were in Coure'dALene idaho and i seen something big rumbling down the road lol it was jeff going to the store for a drink and gas lol..

    verry special indeed...after the fire jeff was'nt the same..it was verry sad..he as well as many others have been an insperation to me. yes she is street leagal and still is residing in kallispell mt. i helped restore thunder beast's finish and body after the fire..the fisrt time i had seen jeff since i was a kid was bout 3 years ago i love him to death..like a older brother i never had.
