By fedders4 [Affiliate User] 1213448491 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThanks. Yes, all Vision Pro 8000s are the same. However, they do sell a Vision Pro 8000 Commercial. If you're a homeowner, you're better off with the non commercial one.
By DrZarkloff [Affiliate User] 1212459060 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removegreat video. I'm about to replace my chronotherm III and buy a Vision Pro 8000.
Are all Vision Pro 8000 the same? I've seen a wide range of prices online.
Darn it! I changed a compressor today and forgot to bring my camera.Sorry about that. I'll try to remember next time.

OH DR...OH DR...why have you not made a video on "how to change the air comprossor"?....
HUGE FAN OF THE SHOW!!!!
If you have the VisionPro 8000, just grab a hold of it and pull it away from the base plate. Then you should be able to replace the triple A batteries. No tools are necessary.

By DrZarkloff [Affiliate User] 1205518401 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHey Jim I have a suggestion for what you can do with all of those old thermostats
CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS HAHAHA But I Dont Think Your Wife Would Like That Too Much...
I agree 100%.
By DrZarkloff [Affiliate User] 1203513455 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI have one of those stats and they are TOP SHELF! I wouldn't use anything but!!
The nice thing about it is its easy to program and use, and when my P.O.S Bryant furnace gets the boot, and a nice Trane hi-eff 2-stage heat goes in this stat will work nicely with it! Works well with my "poor man's 2-stage cooling" in summer too
Cool! Thank you from Florida.

By tinners204 [Affiliate User] 1201111203 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAnd all the features it has and it only takes three wires to hook it up.
By tinners204 [Affiliate User] 1201110906 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThat is another good option on the Pro8000. Partial or full lockout! The t-stats are not cheap. But I like them a lot better than junkers like Braeburn. yuck! :p
By paysonbadboy [Affiliate User] 1199826795 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThanks for the comment. I usually have to replace the old mercury stats with the VisionPro 8000, so I go out of my way to bring in the common wire. I really don't like having to go back a year later only to replace the batteries. The built in memory battery is supposed to be good for about ten years. I work for the school board, so I lock the stat so that the settings can't be changed by a non technician.
By DrZarkloff [Affiliate User] 1199712343 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Remove"hey, if some gay guy can tell you about his favorite underwear...." LOL no S**t ! I', kind of the fanatic myself. Whenever I install one of those Pro8000's I always hook up the common wire so it runs without batteries and set option 280 to "1" so it keeps the backlight active (dim but not off). :) I sometimes install the batteries if the customer wants to pull it off to program or for backup. Although the watch battery backs it up for a while as well.
