hey mate ewb2112 here im on mi other account at da moment but yeh thats all true im in it all for the art n not the fame that comes with it and one day when i finish high school (im in yr 9 now) maby i will go on to a art school n get some sort of degree n do somethin big but until then all im gonna try do is survive n get a rep

depends what you believe in really, if you're in it for the art, get permission and mad skill.. if you're in it for the destruction hit up anyway you can..this day in age it doesn't really matter who you are noones going to notice you so i don't really think its worth doing 10 years in the pen for. not at all, take your art somewhere to go school and get some kind of degree, get paid to put your S**t either on a wall or paper. whatever pays the bills and keeps your needs going. just my opinion.

Bro, definatley. I go crazy with tags, wether it be a mop, a can, a pilot, anything! I take back my original post man, tags CAN be art!
I mean, a simple toy can't just write "Loks" on a wall, and be like "Ay mate, that's fresh!" If a tag is done well, it's art. I'll put it like that.

i been painting for 14 years so dont get me wrong, i paint 90% blowups and pieces, freeways mostly.... but to say tags aren't art is crazy. dont forget what graffiti is about man.

i disagree.
i can do a tag on a light pole, or almost anything for that matter, and make it look like pure art. i dont kill the spot, i choose a style for the "canvas" im writng on, a direction, angle, color, drip or keep it clean, thick or phat, flair or not, up the pole or down the pole, big or small, etc, etc, etc.....

when u step back and look at it, or drive by it the next day, you should be like... "hell yeah, looks good.... graffiti."

Hell yah man, That's art. But I'm talkin' about a simple tag you see down the street, that ain't really art.
Don't get me wrong, you'll see me catch tags at least once a day, I'm down for it, I just don't think I can concider tags art... ecxept handstyles, if done well, that's some sick art

There's a difference between graff, art, and vandalism..
I mean. I've been doing graff for 6 years, and we gotta understand, a Tag ain't art.For example, someone writing "GRAFF ONE" On a wall in simple text.. That's not art!
Or a tag, just writing some letters man.
But, a mural, or a piece, even a throwup, that's art.. that's art all the way man, and if people can't see that.. well, F**k them.
