When I first moved to New York, I lived in an Italian neighborhood; this sandwich reminds me of one we'd get at the deli down the street. Basically, it's all the things you love in an antipasti platter -- marinated artichokes, roasted bell peppers, cured meats, and more -- smashed between two pieces of crusty bread. The best part is that it actually gets better as it sits, so it's perfect for a party or a make-ahead picnic dinner.
