Lolita (1962) Movie Review

Don't know about the movie, but the book is great.

You know, I noticed that, and I won't mention that anymore. It's sad as a writer they tell you not to have your scripts dialogue heavy because studios will look the other way, but the classics are all dialogue heavy. Even some recent movies, like 1989 When Harry Met Sally, Knocked Up, The 40 Year Old Virgin are all dialogue heavy. They're all awesome. Thanks for making that great observation.

Do you review 60s movies very often? Most movies prior to Star Wars were rather dialog heavy, since they could not choreograph action scenes or make eye popping special effects.
Have you read the book as well? In the book Lolita was only 12.

It actually was a stage play at one point...believe it or not one of our producers high schools nearly did the stage play.

I'm scared now the FBI is going to be knocking on my door when they see I'm watching a video with "lolita" in it.

NVM, it sort of works now, But it keeps pausing despite the fact that th video is loaded.
